Sporting Clays Tournament Rescheduling Announcement

Dear Sporting Clays Participants and Staff,

I have been asked on behalf of the 10th Annual Shooting for Heritage Sporting Clays Tournament Committee to inform you that we have regrettably made the difficult decision to reschedule the event for Saturday October 24, 2020.

All other tournament details remain the same and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

The decision to reschedule was not an easy one but when we considered all of the potential health and safety issues with high wind, and with the potential for tree and limb fall the risk was simply too high.  We will have over 100 people deployed as participants and staff during the day throughout the camp increasing the chances of an accident occurring.  We also are aware many of our participants work in fields in which there is a strong possibility that they may be called to work as a result of the weather causing them to miss the event.

Our decision also factored that with the forecast calling for high wind Friday evening into Saturday that the possibility of damage to equipment and the camp would not allow enough time to recover and repair prior to the tournament.

We sincerely hope you will be able to join us on the 24th and we promise to do everything we can to make it up to you.  We would also request that you confirm with others you know are planning to attend to ensure they have received this message as well.
