Changes in my.Scouting

Transfers: Now you can transfer between units and even between Council using the My.Scouting tools and Online Registration. The parent relationship requirement for a transfer has been fixed so units can make transfers now too.
Profile Improvements: Did you know you can add your photo to your online profile in My.Scouting?
Personal Scouting Unit Advancement Details Report: Found in Roster for unit leaders, once a person is select (youth or adult), you can print out a detail of all the registration, training, and advancement records for that person. Note: this is a one person at a time report.
Organization Security Manager is now Position Manager:
An update was made to the process of setting functional positions in your unit, district, and council. That has moved to the “Position Manager” tab on in the “Organization Manager” page. This update also now allows the Chartered Organization Representative to change adult registrations.
Position Manager will allow Chartered Organization Representatives and their designees to change any leader positions, except the Chartered Organization Representative, with the drag of the mouse. It will require an overnight sync, and then the new leadership position will be updated in the unit.
The assignment of functional assignments like Key 3 Delegates and Membership Chair can be done in Position Manager, too. The below Job Aid will illustrate the new tool and its features.

  • For example, if a Cubmaster steps down and a unit committee member replaces her, the unit’s chartered organization representative or their designee can adjust her position without delivering paperwork to the council.
